John Weatherill Appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for WestJet

WestJet has promoted John Weatherill to Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. He is an experienced commercial executive, having held several leadership positions with the company over the last eight years. He most recently served WestJet as Vice President of Network and Revenue, and previously held such roles as Vice President of Pricing and Revenue Management. He joined the company from InterVISTAS Consulting, where he ultimately led as Executive Vice President of Route Development. He succeeds Arved von zur Muehlen, who will resign from the company on March 5, 2021.

WestJet Airlines is a Canadian airline that provides scheduled and charter air service to more than 100 destinations in Canada, the United States, Europe, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
