October 2022

The year 2021 saw diversity, equity, and inclusion make it to the top of the agenda for most firms. However, we still have a long way to go before we truly achieve the balance that reflects our society’s reality.

Launched in succession to our Women in Business report last year, our new global series, Her Corner Office, brings to light the stories of opportunities, challenges, and achievements that catapulted leading women executives to success.

Our next episode features Caroline Starner Dadras, Chief Human Resources Officer at Unified Women’s Healthcare.

“I do think there is such a thing as balance—and I think it can be created for the people who want it. Understand what is the right balance for you as an individual and prioritize it.”

In her conversation with Tom Koch, Senior Partner at Kingsley Gate, Caroline takes us through the achievements, challenges, and learnings on her journey to the top, her greatest success, and the importance of living in the moment and enjoying the success you achieve in that moment. She sheds light on the concept of balance—and finding the right balance for you—while explaining the relevance of having mentors and how to build a meaningful relationship with your mentor as you grow as a leader.

Caroline also shares her key advice for aspiring executives making their way to the corner office.
